epaper Roulette Poker Game
Roulette is a casino game named after a French diminutive for little wheel and also a game of chance and consists of a Roulette wheel and table. In the game, players may choose to place bets on either a single number or a range of numbers, the colors red or black, or whether the number is odd or even.

  • How to play?

  • Let's start with the game basics to get the general idea of how to play roulette games whether in a casino or on the Internet. To play roulette, you place your bet or bets on numbers (any number including the zero) in the table layout or on the outside, and when everybody at the table had a chance to place their bets, the croupier starts the spin and launches the ball. Just a few moments before the ball is about to drop over the slots, the croupier says 'no more bets'. From that moment no one is allowed to place - or change - their bets until the ball drops on a slot. Only after the croupier places the dolly on the winning number on the roulette table and clears all the losing bets you can then start placing your new bets while the croupier pays the winners. The winners are those bets that are on or around the number that comes up. Also the bets on the outside of the layout win if the winning number is represented. The aim of the game is to guess into which numbered slot the ball will land. The player plays against a dealer, who is responsible for spinning the wheel, the ball and paying out the wins. Players, usually up to eight, play against the House represented by the croupier also called the dealer, who spins the roulette wheel and handles the wagers and payouts.

  • Basic Roulette Steps & Rules:-

  • The object of roulette is to predict or to guess where the ball will land. The ball lands randomly therefore the next spin does not depend on the previous ones.

    1. The players buy special colored roulette chips
    2. The gamblers place their bets (as many as they wish)
    3. Croupier spins the wheel and launches the ball
    4. Croupier announces that no more bets can be made
    5. The ball lands determining the winner
    6. Payouts are made
    7. The losing bets are swept away by the casino
    8. The players who decide to leave the table exchange their roulette chips for cash

  • The House advantage:- On a single zero roulette table the House advantage is 2.7%. On a double zero roulette table it is 5.26%. The House advantage is gained by paying the winners a chip or two (or a proportion of it) less than what it should have been if there was no advantage.

  • The En Prison rule:-

  • The House advantage:- A roulette rule applied to even-money bets only, and by some casinos (not all). When the outcome is zero, some casinos will allow the player to either take back half his/her bet or leave the bet (en prison = in prison) for another roulette spin. In the second case, if the following spin the outcome is again zero, then
    the whole bet is lost.

  • The La Partage rule:-

  • The la partage roulette rule is similar to the en prison rule, only in this case the player loses half the bet and does not have the option of leaving the bet en prison for another spin. This refers to the 'outside' even-money bets Red/Black, High/Low, Odd/Even and applies when the outcome is zero. Both the La Partage and the En Prison roulette rules essentially cut the casino edge on the even-money bets in half. So a bet on Red on a single-zero roulette table with the la partage rule or the en prison rule has a 1.35% House edge and one on a double-zero roulette table has a House edge of
    2.63%.

  • RouletteTips

  • 1. Back up Your Inside Bets A good rule of thumb is to back up your numerical bets with an outside wager. This can be a column bet, a colour bet or an odds/even bet. While your return is significantly less than a win on a number, you will continue to win a little bit on each spin of the wheel. This will extend the time of your play in the game and give you a better chance of scoring a big win.
    2. Play Your Hunches Roulette is a game of chance. Dont be afraid of playing hunch numbers, such as A-Rods #13 if he has a hot playoff, etc. If A-Rod can win a World Series in baseball, then you can win the World Series of Free Online Roulette.
    3. Roulette has a high house edge but if you play at a full table you will only get about 30 spins an hour which slows down the time your money is exposed to the house edge. It will also increase your comp time.
    4. If the number you want to bet is covered is already covered with chips, dont worry. It is permissible to stack you chips on top of the other chips. This is another reason why each player has their own color chips.
